Terms of Service
Version 2026-08-05 · 2026-08-20
Version 2026-08-05 · Last updated 5 August 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Entropia ("Entropia", "we", "us"). They govern your use of the Entropia application, website and related services (together, the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who may use Entropia
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. If you use the Service on behalf of a school or organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Give us accurate registration information and keep it current. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, that we are required to act on by law, or that poses a risk to other users.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the quizzes, questions, answers, posts, comments and other material you create or upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for display, and distribute Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service. Where you choose to publish or share Your Content, that licence extends to showing it to the audience you selected.
You confirm that you own Your Content or otherwise have the rights to submit it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. This licence ends when you delete Your Content, except for copies retained in backups for a limited period or where we must keep them by law.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or violent;
- impersonate another person, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation;
- infringe intellectual property or privacy rights;
- upload malware, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' accounts;
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download the Service, or use it to train machine-learning models, without our written permission;
- interfere with the operation of the Service, or circumvent rate limits, moderation or security measures;
- use the Service to cheat in an assessment where doing so breaks the rules of your school or institution.
We may remove content or restrict accounts that breach this section. Reports can be sent to [email protected].
5. Content from other users
The Service shows content created by other users. We do not endorse it and are not responsible for it. Use your judgement, particularly where content is presented as factual or educational.
6. Our content and brand
The Service itself — including its software, design, and the Entropia name and logo — belongs to us or our licensors. These Terms do not give you the right to use our brand, or to copy, modify, reverse-engineer or resell the Service.
7. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Using the Service means the data described there is processed as described there.
8. Availability and changes to the Service
We aim to keep the Service running but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features. Where a change materially reduces what the Service does, we will give reasonable notice unless the change is required for security or by law.
9. Ending this agreement
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms, or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including sections 3, 6, 10 and 11 — continue to apply.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss of profit or opportunity. Our total liability arising out of the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we publish a new version with its own version identifier and ask you to accept it the next time you sign in. Continued use of the Service after accepting a new version means the new version applies. Previous versions remain available at their own addresses so you can see what you agreed to.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, and disputes are subject to the courts of Vietnam, without affecting any mandatory protections available to you as a consumer where you live.
13. Contact
Questions about these Terms, and anything else you need help with, go to [email protected]. We aim to reply within five working days.
