Privacy Policy

Draft for legal review. This document describes how Entropia handles data today, but it has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and is not a final legal notice.

What we collect

Account details you give us: your email address, display name, and password, or the identifier returned by a social login provider you chose to use. Learning activity you create: quizzes, questions, answers, scores, posts, comments, and the people you follow. Technical data needed to run the service: device push notification tokens, and diagnostic logs containing a request identifier, timing, and error information.

Why we use it

To give you an account and keep it secure, to show you and your classmates the content you chose to share, to score quizzes and maintain leaderboards, to send notifications you asked for, and to diagnose faults. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who else sees it

Other users see exactly what your audience setting allows — public, followers only, or the people you invite. Beyond that, we share data only with the service providers needed to run Entropia: our hosting provider, our email delivery provider, and the push notification services operated by Apple and Google. If you sign in with a social provider, that provider learns you signed in.

How long we keep it

Account and learning data is kept while your account exists. Diagnostic logs are kept for a limited period and then discarded. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data, except where we must keep a record to meet a legal obligation.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can withdraw consent to notifications at any time from the app. To make any of these requests, contact us using the details below.

Children

Entropia is used in classrooms. Where a learner is below the age of consent in their country, an account should be created and supervised by a parent, guardian, or the school.
